The AmericasMart Home Furnishings and Gift Show is fast approaching (opening January 11), and Chandler 4 Corners is planning to take it by storm with their display of 140 new designs. Chandler 4 Corners is a Vermont-based home accent company, a purveyor of fine hand-hooked wool pillows, rugs and accent furniture.
Included among the new 2012 products—all designed by artist Laura Megroz—are fun and unique new items such as the cowboy boot Christmas stocking, and one shaped like a green Wellington boot, as well as additions to their popular line of narrow horizon pillows. President Henry Chandler is also very enthusiastic about the expanded line of “Express Yourself” pillows, which “speak for themselves” with phrases sure to bring a smile. “I especially like the fun ones like ‘I’m Pining for You’ set in a forest of evergreens, and ‘Batten Down the Hatches’ —which works both for boaters and just about anyone these days.”
In 2012, new pillow designs abound—dog-themed pillows always find a strong following (“Bow Wow Rider Sloop” is a projected new star), along with nautical themes, western motifs (a cowboy hat, a plush bison), and much more.
New colors grace the hickory bases of the of Amish-made stools and benches. Every top is now available with a choice of red, white or dark brown rustic wood finish. Their sought-after bar stools have been reinvented in a new counter-friendly 24” height.
Rugs have always been a cornerstone of the Chandler 4 Corners line and continue to be so with 28 new designs, including 5 runners ranging from lodge to nautical themes. All are handmade out of pure wool, dyed to their own specifications and colorways.
